盐是中国古代最重要的专卖商品。扬州盐商闻名遐迩,孰不知自古泰州才是产盐重地,扬州盐业的名气实因泰州盐业之盛况而起。本文试图探寻泰州盐业的发展概况,重塑泰州在两淮乃至全国盐业中的重要地位。 Salt is the most important monopoly in ancient China. Yangzhou famous salt far and near, I do not know since ancient times, Taizhou is the salt-producing land, the reputation of Yangzhou Salt industry due to the grand occasion of Taizhou salt industry. This article attempts to explore the development of salt industry in Taizhou, to rebuild Taizhou in the two Huaihe salt industry as a whole.
