明托金字塔原理是芭芭拉·明托提出的关于篇章组织的写作理念。通过使用金字塔结构,作者可以运用问题-解决模板完成引言部分和主体写作并概括杂乱的内容。本文讨论了如何将明托金字塔原理引入英语学术演讲课程来解决学生演讲中存在的突出问题,其中包括题目不恰当、结构松散导致重点不突出、主旨信息不够高度概括和准确。将教学干预前后两次演讲大纲作为语料进行分析和评阅,并用SPSS对评阅分数进行了分析处理,数据表明明托金字塔原理对以上问题的改善有显著的作用。在目前英语学术演讲教材和文献匮乏的状况下,金字塔原理提供了非常实用的模板和检测依据,易于在短时间内学习和操作,对于英语学术演讲具有重大的价值。
Minto pyramid principle is Barbara Minto’s writing about the organization of the text. By using the pyramid structure, authors can apply problem-solving templates to complete the introductory section and subject writing and to summarize the clutter. This article discusses how to introduce the Minto pyramid principle into the English academic lecture course to solve outstanding problems in student lectures, including the inappropriate title, the loose structure, the lack of focus and the lack of highly summarized and accurate subject information. The two lecture syllables before and after the teaching intervention were analyzed and evaluated as corpus, and SPSS was used to analyze the evaluation scores. The data shows that the Minto pyramid principle has a significant effect on the above problems. In the current situation of lack of teaching materials and literature in English academic lectures, the pyramid principle provides a very practical template and test basis, easy to learn and operate in a short period of time, and is of great value to English academic lectures.
