文章对全层放顶煤工作面的瓦斯涌出与分层开采顶分层工作面的瓦斯涌出进行了比较分析，探讨了全层放顶煤工作面瓦斯涌出量在单产相同或提高一倍的情况下比分层开采顶分层工作面小的原因。但初采期间的采空区瓦斯也是一个不容忽视的问题。
