中国典籍博大精深,蕴涵的哲思与智慧对中国宗教、政治、经济、教育、社会等各个方面都产生了不可估量的影响。《道德经》是我国古代典籍中的一颗明珠,也是公认的除《圣经》以外翻译版本最多的著作。据调查,在翻译历史上关于《道德经》的译本有两百多种,其中英文译本也有几十种,并且还不断有新的译本出现。本文主要围绕英译本中对“道”这一核心概念的不同翻译版本,分析了其各自的可取之处及不妥的地方。 Chinese books are profound and profound. The philosophies and wisdom implicated in this book have an immeasurable impact on all aspects of religion, politics, economy, education and society in China. “Tao Te Ching” is a pearl in ancient Chinese classics, and is also recognized as the most translated version of the book except for the Bible. According to the survey, there are over 200 translation versions of “Tao Te Ching” in translation history, including dozens of translations in English and new translations. This thesis mainly analyzes the different translation versions of the core concept of “Tao” in the English version, and analyzes its respective merits and inadequacies.
