Regulatory T cells (Tregs) are a group of cells that are immune and immunosuppressive and play an important role in the induction and maintenance of normal immune tolerance in the body. Research on the phenotypes, subpopulations, and functions of Tregs in chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) infections has also deepened. The purpose of this article is to review the main research status of CD4 + Treg in chronic HCV infection and to summarize the characteristics and disunity of Treg in quantity, phenotype and subpopulation, its function and so on, as well as in chronic HCV infection , In order to have a more comprehensive and reasonable understanding of the change of Treg in HCV infection.
