全国历史文化名城正定,素有九楼四塔八大寺之称。舍利寺即八大寺之一,始建于唐开元年间,宋代以后历代均有修葺,现仅存遗址。此遗址位于正定城内西北隅,由于这里已规划为居民小区,建筑工程开工在即。为了保护地下文物,正定县文物保管所报请河北省文物局批准,并委派河北省文物研究所樊书海同志到现场指导,于1995年11月对遗址 National historic and cultural city Zhengding, known as the fourth floor of the eight towers known as the four towers.
