西南民族大学少数民族古籍文献研究中心是国家民委少数民族古籍文献人才培养与科学研究基地,同时也是该校民族文化艺术实践创新研发基地五个中心之一。馆藏有藏、彝、纳西、傣、水、柯尔克孜、白、侗、羌等二十多种少数民族的各种版本文献50000余(函)册,是迄今为止全国高校中规模最大,收藏最全的民族古籍文献研究中心。中心下设藏学文献馆、彝学文献馆、文献信息化及综合文献馆,并设有民族古籍文献学硕士点,“中国民族文献与多元文化网”等学术研究机构和信息平台。文献中心与藏学院、彝学院组 The Research Center for Ancient Books and Documents of Ethnic Minorities of Southwest University for Nationalities is one of the five centers for cultivation and research of ancient books and documents of the ancient ethnic minorities under the State Ethnic Affairs Commission.
