1. Mrs Helen has a very clever dog named Black. He often helps her buy bread.
　　2. One morning, she gives him a basket with twenty cents in it. She tells him to go to the bakery and get two pieces of bread. He takes the basket in his mouth and goes to the bakery.
　　3. The baker wants to tease Black. So he takes the money and puts it into the drawer, but he does not give him any bread.
　　4. Black puts down the basket and begins to bark. The baker laughs and pats him on the head. He says , “You’re a clever dog .” He takes two pieces of bread and puts them into the basket.
　　5. Black wags his tail , picks up his basket and goes home. He walks proudly down the street and the basket is in his mouth . Everybody looks at him and smiles .

　　2. 一天上午，她给布莱克一个装有20美分的篮子，并告诉它去面包店买两片面包。它用嘴衔着篮子去了面包店。
　　3. 店主想戏弄布莱克。于是他把钱拿走放进抽屉里，但他没有给布莱克面包。
　　4. 布莱克放下篮子开始汪汪地叫。店主笑了笑，拍着布莱克的头说：“你是一条聪明的狗。”他拿了两片面包放进了篮子里。
　　5. 布莱克摇了摇尾巴，衔起篮子往家里走去。它嘴里衔着篮子，骄傲地走在街上。每个人都看着它笑了。
