基于中英两种语言间存在极大的差异,译者在翻译的过程中不得不采取增译的手段来补偿由于语言不同造成的理解缺口,添加注释就是一种很好的增译手法。本文以萧乾和文洁若夫妇共同翻译的《尤利西斯》中的注释为例,主要对注释中的翻译补偿类型进行分析。 Because of the great difference between Chinese and English, translators have to resort to additional means to compensate for the gap of understanding caused by different languages ​​in the process of translation.
