According to “According to the American Cotton Planter,” Volume 6, Volume 7, 1970, it was reported that in the highland area of Texas, the United States experimented with alternating alternate irrigation of cotton fields to obtain higher yields and improved quality. According to the results of a 1969 Texas researchers’ experiment, line-by-line irrigation was carried out at the first flowering and flowering stages of cotton with a yield of 73 kg per mu; when interlacing alternately in mid-flowering and flowering, the yield increased to Mu 114 pounds. In another controlled trial, the yield per line of irrigation was 112 pounds, while that for interlaced irrigation was 118 pounds. Yield little change, but the quality has changed
