为了克服视频编码标准H.264中运动估计运算量大的困难,针对H.264编码的特点,提出了利用4×4Hadamard变换信息进行全零块判断及对运动估计代价门限的自适应估计方法。在此基础上,给出了3个提前退出的判断准则以及结合提前退出技术的快速运动估计算法。实验表明,在编码性能损失很小的条件下,可以使得运动搜索块匹配的运算量在通常快速运动搜索算法基础上再下降30%~70%。同时,由于这种提前退出技术可以结合不同的快速运动估计算法,具有一定的通用性。
In order to overcome the difficulty of large amount of motion estimation in H.264, aiming at the characteristics of H.264 encoding, an adaptive estimation method based on 4 × 4Hadamard transform information for all-zero block estimation and the threshold of motion estimation cost is proposed. On this basis, three judgment criteria for early exit are given and a fast motion estimation algorithm combined with early exit technique is given. Experiments show that the computational complexity of searching for motion search blocks can be reduced by 30% ~ 70% based on the usual fast motion search algorithm under the condition of low coding performance loss. At the same time, due to this early exit technology can combine different fast motion estimation algorithms, has a certain versatility.
