[At the Information Booth]
Man:Excuse me; I need some information on how to get to the City Centre. What’s the
easiest way to get there?
Attendant:Well, it depends on where you are going.
Man:I’ll be staying at the Downtown Hilton.
Attendant:Ok, there are a few options. You can take a bus which leaves every half an hour, its
$4.50 for the trip, and it takes about 1 hour. Or you can take a taxi … it’s more
expensive, about $40-50 but it will get you there much faster.
Man:$50 for a taxi fare! It seems so expensive.
Attendant:Well, the airport is quite far from the city centre.
Man:Well … I do have the time. I’m not in a hurry. Where do I catch the bus?
Attendant:From the Public Transportation Centre. Just follow the signs over … wait a minute!
Did you say you were staying at the Hilton?
Man:Yes, the Downtown Hilton.
Attendant:Oh, I forgot. The Hilton has a free shuttle running back and forth. Just go to the
Hilton Desk over there and they can arrange everything.
Man:Great! Thanks anyway for your help.
[问讯台]
男：打搅一下，我想问一下去市中心的路。最方便的路线是什么？
