Objective: To study the effects of curcumin and Ganoderma lucidum spores on the expression of hepatic apolipoprotein B100 (ApoB100) in mice with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) Ganoderma lucidum spore treatment of NAFLD mechanism, and compared the therapeutic effect of two drugs. Methods: The mRNA expression of hepatic ApoB100 in normal group, NAFLD model group, curcumin treatment group and Ganoderma lucidum spore treatment group were compared by RT-PCR. Results: The expression of ApoB100mRNA increased in the model group, but decreased in the curcumin treated group and the Ganoderma lucidum spore group. The difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Curcumin treatment group and Ganoderma lucidum spores treatment group was no significant difference (P> 0.05). CONCLUSION: The expression of ApoB100mRNA in the liver of NAFLD model group is obviously increased. Curcumin and Ganoderma lucidum spores can regulate lipid metabolism by decreasing the expression of ApoB100mRNA in the liver. Curcumin and Ganoderma lucidum spores have no obvious effect on NAFLD in mice.
