报纸评论究竟应该有什么使命和风格,这个问题与报纸的功能,任务紧密相连。在这改革开放的新时代,报纸评论的传统使命和风格能不能改变呢,它需要有什么样的使命和风格才能适应商品经济发展的新形势呢?作为开放型报纸的广州日报,在这方面作了一些摸索,在一版《试验区论坛》言论专栏上进行了试验性的改革。在这里,结合我们的改革实践,谈一谈新时期报纸评论的改革路子。 1988年初,党中央、国务院确定广东作为全国综合改革的试验区,为配合这一重大决策,报纸决定在一版开辟言论专栏《试验区论坛》。它每周刊出两期,排楷体字,围花,放在相当显著的位置。总编辑亲自主管这一工作,并确定把它办成“群众参政议政的园
What kind of mission and style should a newspaper commentary actually have? This issue is closely linked with the newspaper’s functions and tasks. In this new era of reform and opening up, can the newspaper’s traditional mission and style of commentary be changed? What kind of mission and style does it need to adapt to the new situation of commodity economy development? The Guangzhou Daily, an open newspaper, Made some groping and conducted tentative reforms in a column of “experimental zone forums”. Here, in connection with our reform practice, we will talk about the reform path of newspaper commentary in the new period. In early 1988, the Central Party Committee and the State Council decided that Guangdong should serve as a pilot area for the comprehensive reform of the country. In line with this major policy decision, the newspaper decided to open a special column entitled “Experimental Zone Forum” in a special edition. It is published twice a week, in italics, surrounded by flowers, on a rather prominent position. The chief editor personally supervised the work and decided to make it a “garden for mass participation in politics.”
