However, the traditional concept greatly excludes female literature as “alternative”. There is no doubt that Ida will inevitably fall into the same predicament. The purpose of this essay is to make a deeper discussion on the creative theme of the prolific Australian women writer in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, to clarify Ida’s position as a great female writer in Australian colonial literature and to further explain that she is the most Bold female writer.
