During the Ming Jiajing period, the merchants represented by the Portuguese carried out international free trade along the coast of eastern Zhejiang and gradually formed the largest and most prosperous international free trade port in that time-Shuangyu Port. However, under the extermination of the Ming government, the port of Shuangyu Island was finally “built”. Since then, the true meaning of the Ming Dynasty free trade ended in the East China Sea. This article clearly shows that since the background and rise of the port of Shuangyu, the expansion of overseas “ideal” in Portugal and the demise of the port of Shuangyu under the sea-prohibition policy of the Ming government, it has been clearly seen that the history of China and the West began to fall apart . This distinction is not only reflected in their policies, but more importantly in the notion of the two sides of the concept. Their respective policies and concepts also represent the trends of the policies and ideas of the East and West countries in the same period, respectively Eventually led to the formation of the dominance of the west.
