Many cellular processes are orches-trated by dynamic changes in the plasma membrane to form membrane projec-tions and endocytic compartments in re-sponse to extracellular cue changes.Our previous studies show that post-transla-tional modifications of ACAP4 regulate membrane dynamics and curvature in re-sponse to epidermal growth factor and chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 18 stimu-lation (Zhao et al.,2013;Song et al.,2018).However,there is no quantitative measurement to annotate magnitude of dynamic membrane cytoskeletal remod-eling in stimulus-elicited mechanosen-sation on the plasma membrane.
