2008年上半年,铁路运输行业在战胜雨雪冰冻灾害和抗震救灾工作中取得了阶段性胜利,全国铁路发送旅客7.1亿人,同比增加8467万人,增长13.5%,其中中长途直通旅客2.58亿人,同比增长8.2%;发送货物16.5亿吨,同比增加1.1亿吨,增长7.1%;日均装车数完成146611车,同比增加7374车,增长5.3%。
