对中美两国初中数学教材中“圆的弧与弦的有关性质”内容进行比较研究,从内容呈现的结构特征、范希尔的几何思维水平和数学内容的期望三个方面建立分析框架,对比分析的内容的编排结构、内容所处的几何思维水平及各思维水平的过渡特点.目的是揭示两国教材几何内容的呈现特点和差异,并为教师创造性使用教材提供一种新的视角、为教材编写者提供一个参照目标.比较发现美国教材内容呈现的几何思维水平的过渡更平稳,符合初中生的认知水平;中国教材数学题难度更大,中国教材比美国教材的期望更高;美国加州版教材中出现的背景素材种类更为丰富并且贴近生活.
