11月15日，外媒报道称，乐视法拉第未来项目因数次拖欠供应商工程款而停工，美国内华达州财务官员称该项目为“庞氏骗局”。但法拉第未来11月16日晚间发布声明称其工厂从未停工。值得一提的是，处于停工漩涡中的工厂项目今年4月才开工，内华达州州长还为奠基仪式站台，为了引入这一项目，内华达州提供了政策优惠，包括2.15亿美金的税收抵免和减免，以及用于改善建厂工业区基础设施的 1.2 亿美金公共费用。
