Today’s market has become a hot topic in people’s daily economic life. The non-staple food market in Guangzhou was the first in the country to open up. In recent years, the supply of non-staple foods has become increasingly abundant. It is convenient for members of the public to buy from a permit (ticket) to purchase freely. Departments engaged in the supply of business work, purchase and sales indicators continue to grow each year, business is booming. However, since the market was transferred to the Qiuwang season in 1989, there has been a period of prosperous growth, a negative growth in merchandise sales, an increase in commodity inventories, and a slowdown in capital turnover. Citizens need to “think twice” before purchasing non-staple food. Consumption is turned from heat to cold, and people hold money to buy... According to statistics, from January to October 1989, total purchases of total system goods of the Guangzhou Municipal Second Commercial Bureau totaled 1.99 billion yuan, an increase of only 11.2% over the same period in 1988; total merchandise sales were 2.25 billion yuan, an increase of only 12% over the same period in 1988. From January to October of 1988, compared with the same period in 1987, the total purchase of goods increased by 39%; the total sales increased by 83.1%. In contrast, the increase in purchases and sales in 1989 slashed drastically. If the price index rises again, the total amount of purchases and sales of goods will increase negatively. In October 1989, compared with September, total global merchandise purchases decreased by 11.8%, and total sales decreased by 13.2%. Look at the wholesale sales of major commodities such as pigs, cattle, poultry, eggs, sugar, cigarettes, alcohol, and beverages.
