Researchers at the Imperial College London, UK, tested 7871 children and focused on their language, behavior and study skills at ages 7-8 and 15-16. Studies show that children with dexterous hands are twice as likely as children with “right-handed” children to do bad or inattentive school. Of the 7-8 year olds, 87% of the ingenious people are twice as likely to have speech impairments and are mediocre at school. At the age of 15 and 16, they are twice as likely to suffer from attention deficit disorder, and their speech problems are more pronounced than their peers who are used to the right hand.
