矿物填料在造纸中的应用已经有很久的历史。将填料进行改性或者对其表面处理之后可以用在书写纸和印刷纸中。滑石粉,作为一种埃及的填充材料,可以直接应用或者对其进行改性之后用作漂白稻草浆的内部施胶剂。用邻苯二甲酸酐、尿素对滑石粉进行化学改性,并与松香胶进行比较。由于滑石粉具有化学惰性,对其进行这种改性可以改变天然滑石粉的特性,并对经过内部施胶的手抄片进行机械性能和光学性能的研究。结果显示,利用邻苯二甲酸酐改性的滑石粉可以改善手抄片的机械性能和光学性能。很明显,滑石粉的改性对改善纤维-填料-纤维结合键具有重要的作用。
Mineral fillers have long been used in papermaking. After the filler is modified or surface-treated, it can be used in writing paper and printing paper. Talc, as an Egyptian filler, can be used as an internal sizing for bleaching straw after direct application or modification. Talc was chemically modified with phthalic anhydride and urea and compared with rosin gum. Due to its chemical inertness, talc can be modified to change the properties of natural talc and to study the mechanical and optical properties of internally sized handsheets. The results show that the use of phthalic anhydride modified talc can improve the mechanical properties and optical properties of hand sheet. Clearly, the modification of talc plays an important role in improving the fiber-filler-fiber bond.
