小镇姑娘向往大都市的生活,却不知道都市的美妙只是它的残酷的另外一重侧影。而每一个选择了异乡的人,都注定了从远走的那天起,就会和故乡产生一种难以安放的纠葛关系。电影《布鲁克林》改编自爱尔兰著名作家科尔姆·托宾的同名小说,讲述了爱尔兰小镇姑娘艾丽斯离开家乡,独身前往美国纽约布鲁克林闯荡的经历。这是一个关于漂泊与回归、珍爱与痛失的故事。本文将通过爱尔兰小镇和美国纽约两个地点以及艾丽斯的两份爱情,从多元文化角度来解读这部电影作品。
