Objective To study the relationship between the fracture-healing mixture and the regulation of nitric oxide synthase in the promotion of fracture healing. Methods The SD rats were divided into the control group and the treatment group. All the rats were divided into two groups according to the model of right tibial bone defect. The rats in the treatment group were treated with DuanGuJu mixture concentrate, and the DR was taken at 4d, 7d, 14d and 28d The specimens were taken from the bone and the specimens were taken out. The expression of NOS protein in fresh callus tissue was detected by western-blotting. Results The expression of eNOS in callus in the treatment group was significantly higher than that in the control group on the 4th day and the 7th day (P <0.05). The expression of iNOS in the callus was significantly higher than that in the control group on the 7th day (P <0.05 or P <0.01). Conclusion Broken bone and wound mixture has certain effect of promoting fracture healing within two weeks after operation. It is speculated that Broken Broken Burn Mixture may also regulate the expression of CGRP and enzyme activity.
