威海市大力实施海洋与渔业“二次创业”,加大海洋与渔业结构调整力度,积极培植海洋与渔业发展新的增长点,海洋与渔业经济保持了持续、稳定、健康发展的良好态势。2002年,全市水产品总产量达到239万t,保持了稳定增长;实现水产品产值132.3亿元,较上年增长9％;水产业总产值309.7亿元,较上年增长10％。海洋与渔业发展呈现出一批新亮点:
