掺稀土元素的GeO_2-SiO_2纤芯光纤,由于其具有显著的抽运吸收带,又具有低损耗的传输窗口,可用于制成新型的光纤激光器、光纤放大器、其它非线性光器件和光纤传感器等。本文综合了英国和日本在这方面的研制情况。
The rare earth-doped GeO_2-SiO_2 fiber core can be used as a new type of fiber laser, fiber amplifier, other non-linear optical devices and optical fiber sensor due to its remarkable pumping absorption band and low loss transmission window . This article combines the development of the UK and Japan in this area.
