有幸从事文物保护工作,更是机缘接触了古建筑的研究,在北方生活了几十年,再看江南的建筑和景色,那种温润脱俗对我来说,是一种诱惑。细察起来,皖南的古民居和江南一些有文化理想的现代建筑一样,都有一个共同的精神源头,那便是中国的隐逸文化传统。一般人多认为隐逸只与道家的“道法自然”、“无为”等思想有关,其实儒家最早肯定了隐逸的合理与价值。应当说从先秦“三以天下让”的季札移居此地,隐逸就成为江南文化的一条主脉。魏晋时家族承继的学术传统,以及隋炀帝对江南文化的推崇,不过使这种隐逸精神得以彰显。此后,是江南文化张扬的年代。快意山林、寻幽
