Bourdieu’s sociolinguistics believes that language should be placed in a social context for investigation, and the emergence and evolution of languages are closely linked with social life. Languages can be divided into legal and non-legal languages. “Reeling ” comes from the network, is a new group of self-naming. “Reeling ” as an unlawful language, its popular expression of non-legal language to legitimate language confrontation. “Reeling ” phenomenon is a kind of network sub-culture, through “self-deprecating, ironic” expression of dissatisfaction with reality, revealing “Reeling ” in real life repression and helplessness. From an aesthetic point of view, the vulgarization tendency of “reeling ” with obvious “ugly ” is a destruction of the beauty of Chinese, revealing that contemporary Chinese is facing a cyberculture crisis.
