乌盟是京包铁路西行进入我区的第一站,是我区的“门户”。长期以来,这里因干旱少雨,风大沙多,加之植被保护措施不力,沿线植被稀疏,景观荒凉,与相邻省市相比,有较大差距。面对近年乌盟重视林业生产的大好机遇,抓好乌盟段铁路防护林建设势在必行。同时,抓好这个“门户”,可促进呼市、包头市、巴盟、乌海市等地的铁路防护林建设。
WUMU is the first stop of the westbound carriage of Beijing-Baohai Railway into our district and the “gateway” to our district. For a long time, there is a big gap between neighboring provinces and cities because of the arid and rainy weather, the large sand, and the poor vegetation protection measures. The vegetation along the line is sparse and the landscape is inhospitable. Faced with the great opportunity of Umweller importance to forestry production in recent years, it is imperative to do a good job in the construction of Ulleungsen Railway Shelterbelt. At the same time, do a good job in this “gateway” to promote the construction of railway shelterbelt in Hohhot, Baotou, Bameng, Wuhai and other places.
