“贵无”是正始玄学的核心之一,从“贵无”出发,何晏得出“圣人无情”的结论,而王弼倡导“圣人有情”之说,王弼的“圣人观”不仅将汉魏之际的“神化圣人”拉回到人间,而且将汉代的阴阳性情论引向玄学的体用性情论。王弼杂糅儒道两家的思想,认为君主应当是圣人,但同时又认为圣人应当懂得“崇本息末”之法。因此,在王弼看来,理想的圣人应当是“体无而应物有情”的,同时也是行“无为之治”的。
