已有研究证实C—erbB家族在恶性肿瘤的发生与发展过程中起重要作用，C—erbB2在食管组织中的过度表达与食管癌的分级、浸润深度、淋巴结转移和预后相关。作者采用免疫组织化学的方法检测C-erbB3在食管癌组织及对照组中的表达情况，旨在探讨C—erbB3的表达与食管癌临床和病理的关系。
