According to the “Industrial Business Daily” report, the mainland’s machinery entering Hong Kong’s electromechanical market has increased fourfold in five years since the implementation of the open policy in 79 years, and the price has also been increased by 10 to 20%. The mainland’s mechanical sales ports are mainly machine tools, hand tools, textile machinery and cultural machinery. The export volume of manual tools accounted for 37% of Hong Kong’s imports of such products, 34% of vehicles, and 39% of drilling machines. In addition to Hong Kong’s own sales, mainland China’s machinery enters the Hong Kong market and there are also a considerable number of re-exports.
