Don DeLillo is an important writer in the 21st century in the United States, especially in the post-9-11 era. His new work “Absolute Zero” inherits DeLillo’s consistent writing style and thinking, goes a step further in philosophical speculation A new, consistent with the rapid development of science and technology in the 21st century concept of life and death. By deploying a project to freeze human life and consciousness (freezing the human body), DeLillo attempts to explain the reasons for the proliferation of current fundamentalist science in a highly developed science and at the same time a mirror of the new isolation of the United States after the Sept. 11 Incident The return of doctrine and the pursuit and philosophization of the doubt about who lives for whom. This article illustrates and confirms Derirow’s claim that philosophical speculation is the best key, or at least a mirror, for solving the problems of post-modern society, especially the 21st century.
