目前全世界不管是发达国家、发展中国家还是落后的国家中,都有相当一部分中老年人是高血脂、肥胖II型糖尿病人。为探索太极拳运动对这些人健身防病的作用,检测长期坚持太极拳运动对中老年人锻炼与非锻炼的血脂,脂蛋白代谢及肥胖II型糖尿病患者各项指标的变化情况,结果显示经常坚持太极拳运动可降低血脂,调节脂类代谢,特别对改善肥胖II型糖尿病患者代谢紊乱起到重要作用。
