为解决优质蛋白饲草缺乏的问题,1998年起对黑龙江省地方品种秣食豆(Glycine max Merr.)进行了整理、栽培研究,选育出松嫩秣食豆(Glycine max Merr.‘Songnen’)新品种,2013年通过全国草品种审定委员会审定。研究结果表明,其平均干草产量为11985.1 ks·hm~(-2),比对照品种增产13。6%;种子产量为2088.2 kg·hm~(-2),与对照品种差异不显著;蛋白含量高,是优良的豆科饲草品种,适宜在北方地区推广种植.
