游戏是学龄前儿童的基本活动,而角色游戏在儿童游戏活动中又占有特殊的地位,它是幼教工作者对儿童进行教育的有力手段。角色游戏的特点是,儿童在游戏中毫无拘束地、自由自在地、自出心裁地反映周围的社会生活,反映他对生活的认识、理解、愿望和感情,反映他们的是非观念和本身的性格特点等等。这些反映是学龄前儿童生理心理发展的需要,是借助于玩具材料能动地反映现实生活的一种特殊活动。因此,开展角色游戏,对丰富儿童的社会生活知识,培养儿童尊敬成人劳动的感情,发展儿童的智力,培养儿童的才干,形成儿童开朗活泼的性格,都具有积极作用。
