In the past few years,video has become one of the most powerful engines to push communications forward.The increasing of digital video technology requires larger and larger bandwidth for various applications,such as IPTV,VOD,video phone,mobile search,etc.The goal of this Feature Topic column is to present and highlight the latest progress and future video-related technologies.We hope this group of papers can stimulate readers to think more deeply about new video processing techniques.Progress in communications has greatly reduced the separation of people in different locations.Compared with the situation of thirty years ago,we find that the telegraph has almost disappeared.Meanwhile,cellphones,especially smartphones,have become essential tools in our lives,and many applications,such as Facetime and Skype,have become popular,along with various video functions.

提出了一种新的基于区域互信息和局部频率信息结合的双向图像配准测度。首先,以原参考图像为参考,计算出正向变换下图像的区域互信息和Gabor滤波后的得到局部频率信息;同时,以输入图像为参考图像,计算出逆变换下的逆向互信息和局部频率信息。将正向与逆向变换下的互信息和局部频率信息各自相乘后求和,减去两幅图像对应的配准残量,得到双向图像配准度量,用于对输入图像进行配准。仿真实验结果在验证分析结果的同时也表明
