目的分析某医院环氧乙烷中毒事故的发生原因。方法依据作业现场职业病危害因素的监测方法、作业场所职业接触限值,对事故现场进行监测,结合职业卫生学调查,分析中毒事故发生的原因。结果事故发生后第7天监测的最高点环氧乙烷浓度超标40倍;第8天最高点超标约0.5倍;第12天均未检出。结论这是一起由于消毒柜使用的环氧乙烷气体泄漏导致医务人员环氧乙烷中毒的事故。环氧乙烷消毒间存在环氧乙烷的危害,在手术室可行性论证阶段应进行职业病危害评价;在进行初步设计时,其设置区域应与相对密闭的手术室隔离。用人单位应加强管理,以杜绝类似事故的发生。
Objective To analyze the causes of ethylene oxide poisoning in a hospital. Methods Based on the monitoring methods of occupational hazards at work site and occupational exposure limits of work sites, the accident scene was monitored. Occupational hygiene investigation was conducted to analyze the causes of poisoning accidents. Results The highest ethylene oxide concentration exceeded 40 times of the highest monitored on the 7th day after the accident. The highest point exceeded the standard about 0.5 times on the 8th day and was not detected on the 12th day. Conclusion This is an accident with ethylene oxide poisoning by medical staff due to the leakage of ethylene oxide gas used in the sterilizer. The ethylene oxide disinfection room exists the harm of ethylene oxide, in the operating room feasibility demonstration stage should be occupational disease hazard assessment; in the initial design, the setting area should be relatively confined operating room isolation. Employer should strengthen management to prevent similar accidents from happening.
