Our department has been involved in the treatment of esophageal cancer from July 1975 to the end of 1979. There are 458 cases with radiotherapy doses up to D (?) 4000rad. The analysis report is as follows: Clinical data: 377 males and 81 females in this group. High-risk age group 51-60 years old, accounting for 48%. There were 73 cases (16.0%) in the upper cervical and upper thoracic segments and 366 (79.9%) in the mid-thoracic segment.
