The combination of Aconitum and Rhinoceros is one of the nineteen fears of traditional Chinese medicine. The experimental water ox horn replaces the rhinoceros and the combination of Aconitum nigra and the pharmacological indexes such as analgesia, anti-inflammation, immunity, and blood before and after compatibility in physiological conditions and low immune function. The results show that: Inflammation, leukocyte, thymus, coagulation time and other indicators, when used alone, have a role, after combined use is not as good as single taste; for the spleen index, single use has no effect; buffalo horn has a certain cooling effect, and the combination of Kusao and the body temperature are no effect. It is suggested that the compatibility of the two drugs may belong to the category of “evil” in the seven situations of traditional Chinese medicine.
