造像量度在藏传佛教的雕塑和绘画艺术中一直占有非常重要的地位。留存下来的主要的造像量度理论典籍有四部。后来,以这些典籍为基础,一些学者和艺术家还以著述、画本、技艺口诀等形式把造像量度的相关内容传承下来。对于这些造像理论典籍及材料的研究和梳理,有助于我们更全面、更深入地理解它们所共同构建的造像量度理论体系及其在藏传佛教造像艺术发展中所起的作用。
The statuary measure has always held a very important position in the art of Tibetan Buddhism sculpture and painting. There are four main statues of statues that survived. Later, on the basis of these books, some scholars and artists inherited the relevant contents of statues of statues in the form of writings, paintings, techniques and formulas. The study and sorting of the statues and materials of these statues helps us understand more fully and deeply the theoretical system of statues of statues they jointly constructed and their role in the development of statues of Tibetan Buddhism.
