法国汉学家兼音乐学家莫里斯·库朗(Maurice Courant,1865—1935)著有《中国古典音乐史论,附录有关韩国的音乐》一书,他是西方介绍中国音乐的论著中最早将《天闻阁琴谱》的琴曲片段译成五线谱而传入西方的人士。库朗是如何切入对中国古琴的研究,又如何将《天闻阁琴谱》的琴曲片段译成西方乐谱呢?库朗不会弹古琴,但他参考大量的中国文献,以精确的音律知识将《天闻阁琴谱》的琴曲小片段译成五线谱,使《天闻阁琴谱》进入西方音乐界的视域。
Maurice Courant (1865-1935), a French sinologist and musicologist, is the author of “The History of Chinese Classical Music, Appendix to Korean Music”, one of the earliest works on western music introducing Chinese to “ Tianwen Wenqin music spectrum ”section of the piano into the staves and spread to the West. How did Kulun cut into the study of Chinese guqin and how to translate the pieces of the piano from the “Tianwen Wenqinpian” to Western music? Kulung does not play Guqin, but he refers to a large amount of Chinese literature with precise knowledge of temperament Translating the small pieces of the “Qin Wen Genre” into the music notes, bringing the “Tian Wen Genre” into the field of western music.
