对于含有三项式的一元二次方程我们常用完全平方公式法、十字相秉法、配方法、求根公式法去解。当遇到用以上方法不易求解时,我们可以采用另一种比较简便的“积差法”去解一元二次方程。将等号一边的常数项与等号另一边的二次项、一次项分别进行分解因式,并且使等号两边因数的差相等;再按照大小写出对应等式,进而解出未知数的值。这种解一元二次方程的方法叫积差法,具体解法如下。
