当我们以今天的眼光来回望百年中国史,总会为苦难深重的年代而沉思,也会为饱满的革命精神和建设祖国新貌的豪情而振奋。今天,在这个读图时代,最能令人对那个时代生发感慨并振奋情绪的,莫过于前辈美术家以其革命情怀而全身心投入的创作。这方面,以李桦为代表的一大批版画家的作品最为突出。李桦的美术创作理想,不仅表现在他的作品中,也直接贯穿于他的版画教学中。通过对其一生概要地回顾,我们看到了这位历经时代烽烟的老美术家所具有的突出个性和独特贡献。如果沿着这个脉络来观察今天的中国和中国美术,虽然我们已经看不到弥漫的硝烟,但是在中国社会经受一轮又一轮的文化冲击波所透露出的硝烟气息,却经久不散。当此之时,我们应该树立怎样的中国美术观?应该怎样建设当代的中国美术?我们希望和大家一起来思考,一起来观察。
When we look back and look at the centennial Chinese history from today’s perspective, we always ponder over the years of deep suffering and will also inspire the full revolutionary spirit and the pride of building a new look of the motherland. Today, in this reading age, the most inspiring emotion and excitement of that era is the creation of the older artists who devote themselves fully to their revolutionary feelings. In this respect, a large number of prints artists represented by Li Hua are the most prominent. Li Hua’s artistic creation ideals, not only reflected in his works, but also directly throughout his print teaching. Through a brief review of his life, we have seen the prominent personality and unique contribution of this old artist who has lived through the times. If we look at today’s Chinese and Chinese art along this vein, even though we can no longer see the pervasive smoky atmosphere, the smoldering atmosphere revealed in the Chinese society after a series of cultural shocks persists. At this time, we should establish what kind of concept of Chinese art? How to build contemporary Chinese art? We hope we can think together and observe together.
