小波变换在时域和频域具有良好的局部化性能 ,因而在图象压缩编码中得到广泛应用 .矢量量化则因为其压缩比大 ,原理和算法相对简单 ,成为图象压缩的又一重要方法 .采用小波变换与四元树矢量量化相结合对二维图象进行编码 .结果表明 ,该方法可以获得较高的压缩比及 PSNR.
Wavelet transform is widely used in image compression coding because of its good localization performance in time domain and frequency domain.Vector quantization is another important method of image compression because of its large compression ratio, relatively simple principle and algorithm The two - dimensional image was coded by the combination of wavelet transform and quaternion tree vector quantization.The results show that this method can obtain higher compression ratio and PSNR.
