Based on the rhetorical narrative theory, this article uses the method of combining text analysis and cultural criticism to study the writer’s purpose of highlighting the masculinity of Chinese Americans and strengthening the political protest by gender identity. The narrative means of texts and the perceived narrative effect of readers Organic interaction.
