前言在EFL课堂用真实的听力材料,不是什么新思想。然而,教员总有这样的倾向,他们认为这种听力材料只适合于较高水平的学生,因为它“过于难懂”。对真实听力材料的这种态度,使学生的听力理解水平势必与其它语言技能很不相称。我相信,真实听力材料能够,并且应该应用到从初级到高级各阶段的训练中去,因为只有从初级阶段就开始听真实材料,学生才能够把逐个听力微技能完全统一起来。
Preface It is not a new idea to use real listening materials in EFL classes. However, there is always a tendency for instructors to consider this type of listening material only suitable for higher-level students because it is “too difficult to understand.” This kind of attitude toward the real listening material makes students’ level of listening comprehension inevitably disproportionate to other language skills. I believe that the real listening material can and should be applied to the training of all stages from primary to advanced because only by listening to the actual material from an early stage can students be able to fully harmonize listening-by-hearing skills.
