The Outline of Modern and Contemporary History of China has the dual disciplinary nature of political discipline and historical discipline, and some people seem to have the characteristic of boring preaching, which is not easy to arouse the attention and resonance of college students. In teaching, we can greatly mobilize the students’ curiosity about the history of their hometown and improve their learning history by connecting the local historical materials and environment they have learned.
