The Olsen method has been widely used abroad for many years and has proved that the determination result of this method has a very good correlation with the reaction of various plants to phosphorus. In particular, the determination of available and neutral soil calcareous soil available phosphorus content is very good. But to a certain extraction temperature, time and oscillation rate conditions. The extraction temperature has great influence on the determination results. Olsen has proposed that the soil available phosphorus (P) content increased by 0.43 ppm (1) for every 1 ° C increase in temperature at 20-30 ° C at 25 ° C ± 1 ° C. Stome test results do not match Olsen’s temperature correction (2). PENG Qian-tao et al. Experiments show that the extraction temperature has a great impact on the determination of available phosphorus in soil. For any soil, regardless of the level of available phosphorus, the measured value is always related to the extraction temperature. Corrected with 0.43ppm results, the value of phosphorus is too high when the phosphorus content is low; high value is small (3). So far there is no better temperature correction factor.
